We are proud to serve those who have served our country. There are many options for care available to Veterans, most of which are free of charge. These options include Home Health Aid, Homemaker, and Respite services directly through the VA Medical System. There are also pensions that certain Veterans may qualify for based on income, medical needs, and service during a wartime period. We are happy to help coordinate these services for you.
Many of the veterans we serve receive free care through the Department of Veterans Affairs. This allows a service like ours, which is normally out of pocket and not covered by Medicare, to be accessible to our nation's veterans.
Whether you are connected to your local VA Medical System or not, navigating through all of the benefits the VA offers can be a challenge. That is where our local experts are here to help. We can walk you through the process of getting connected, establishing care, and starting in-home services.
The services we provide to our nation's veterans allow for increased independence, gained self-confidence, and promote overall health and wellness.
The ability to receive personal care and homemaker services in the comfort of your own home allows our veterans to continue to live independently and age in place with dignity and a higher quality of life.
At CareCo, service is at the heart of all that we do. If there is anyone that encompasses service at the highest level, it is our nation’s veterans. It is an honor for us to be able to serve those who have already given so much.
Below are some examples of the assistance provided in our veteran care services
Our homemaker services provide assistance with household tasks such as light housekeeping, meal planning & preparation, medication reminders, and companionship.
Our home health aide services provide assistance with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, toileting, exercise & mobility.
CareCo’s respite program through the VA is designed to provide relief for primary caregivers and families regarding care for their loved one.
Some veterans can qualify for a pension that covers in-home care services. To qualify you must have served during a wartime period, be primarily homebound, and meet certain financial limitations.
Our team will guide you through all the options you may or may not know about and point you in the right direction to receiving care paid for by the VA.
